We understand the challenges of running successful IT projects and quality is a vital part of that. KPMG Crimsonwing’s commitment to quality sits at the core of all our processes – we have an independent quality department and see it as the starting point not only for customer benefits, but for ensuring long-lasting business relationships.

Our quality assurance system

Our quality management system, which is ISO 9001 certified, governs all our processes, so quality assurance and quality control activities are a fundamental part of the way we work. Every year, we issue an internal quality report based on client feedback, which helps us to continuously strive to find new ways of improving our services.

All of our project managers hold PRINCE 2 practitioner certificates and we have a number of qualified SCRUM masters, so we can use either Waterfall or Agile project methodologies. For our ERP projects we firmly adopted the Sure Step framework throughout. You can find more about this in our project approach section.

Our post-implementation support procedures are all aligned with ITIL standards. ITIL is the most widely adopted approach for IT Service Management and provides a practical, no-nonsense framework for identifying, planning, delivering and supporting IT services to clients.

Quality and your project

At the outset, we work together with you and your staff to define the requirements of your solution which is thoroughly documented. You can expect a quality plan for each individual project including:

  • quality goals,
  • details of the software development process,
  • change and configuration management approaches,
  • project phases and stages, as well as
  • quality activities that will be undertaken, like walk-throughs, reviews, testing, verification, validation, configuration management.
  • In the latter stages of your project, during user acceptance testing, you can notify us of any changes you’d like to make to the solution for the finishing touches.

Strong partnerships and accreditations

Quality is also enshrined through our accreditations – which include Gold and Enterprise status partnerships with Microsoft, Magento, Intershop, Oracle and PrintVis. For all of these we have to go through stringent annual accreditation processes to prove our skills and competencies across all kinds of technologies and processes.

That way we make sure that our staff has relevant skills and knowledge by providing training and development courses. KPMG Crimsonwing is a Private Authorised Prometric Test Centre, so we can easily ensure our teams are certified and recognised by industry standards.
