The first day of Convergence 2014 Europe in Barcelona had a lot to offer! KPMG Crimsonwing was attending as Silver Sponsor, with our own stand (#23!) and was invited to do a presentation at the Media Wall.
Take a look at this blog entry for a short summary of Day 1:
From the Keynote, KPMG Crimsonwing Business Consultant Gerdine Jansen reports:
“Welcome to Barcelona!” Wayne Morris, CVP at Microsoft Business Solutions Marketing, welcomed the 4000+ visitors of the annual Microsoft event: Convergence 2014 Europe. After a few words, he introduced Kirill Tatarinov, Executive VP at Microsoft Business Solutions. Kirill gave an inspirational speech on our modern and fast-paced world, where everything revolves around connecting people and organisations. The trend ‘mobile-first, cloud first’ is becoming increasingly important, and the desire for constant mobility and flexibility is ever growing. Tatarinov presented how Microsoft act on their vision to help the world with business solutions, which provide a substantial contribution to increasing productivity and great customer experiences. Complete solutions for organisations focused on the future. A future in the ‘cloud’ of course! With a steady foot on the ground.
KPMG Crimsonwing session
Day 1 of Convergence was also the day of KPMG Crimsonwing’s presentation at the Media Wall. Opening the partner lead sessions, our CEO David Walsh and CTO Kees Brussen shared their expertise on the subject of systems integration, in particular integration between Dynamics AX and eCommerce platforms.
Unlock the Safe
The Unlock the Safe challenge on our stand attracted many visitors, and around noon the safe already had its first winner! This lucky person went home with a Hitachi power tool set. The safe was immediately filled with new prizes: a range of Life Fitness sports gear. No one has yet succeeded in opening the safe for a second time, so if you’re at Convergence, head to stand #23 and give it a try!
