KPMG Crimsonwing and its Italian partner Display have designed a high-end eCommerce store for a luxury Italian shoe-maker. The KPMG Crimsonwing team of six specialists delivered the project on time and on budget, just in time for the Milano-MICAM shoe event, the largest shoe fair in the world.
KPMG Crimsonwing’s previous experience in the image-conscious fashion industry demonstrated that high fashion demands visually appealing and integrally robust eCommerce systems, since the web store is their show window to the world.
“At KPMG Crimsonwing we merged the quality look and feel provided by our partners Display with our knowledge of eCommerce stores to come up with a website that is simple to use and secure“, KPMG Crimsonwing project manager Ivan Carabott explained.
The solution integrates a corporate site providing information about the company and its products. The eCommerce store is based on the leading eBusiness solution by Intershop Enfinity 6.2.
Features include high-detail product images that can be magnified to exploit the quality of the finishing of the client’s product, search engine optimisation for improved indexing, integrated stock handling, which permits the client to manage stock levels in real-time, and a multi-lingual platform that provides all content in English, Italian, French and German.
