On Tuesday, the 26th of June, the KPMG Crimsonwing team held their first Magento eCommerce Forum in Richmond, in partnership with Magento, the world’s fastest-growing eCommerce platform. Other presenters included Predictive Intent, a personalisation technology provider and famous payment solution provider PayPal.
The half-day event was held in the PayPal offices in Richmond-upon-Thames, where eCommerce professionals all gathered to hear and discuss the opportunities offered through Magento Enterprise for retailers to increase not only the quantity but also the quality of their sales.
Barry Thorn, Sales Manager at KPMG Crimsonwing, opened the seminar and held a presentation on how B2B businesses can leverage virtually infinite flexibility through the unrivalled feature–set, together with world-class partner support. KPMG Crimsonwing, as one of the leading Magento Gold Partners in the UK, has developed and implemented many Magento eCommerce solutions for various clients.
Jenny Homer, Magento Partner Channel Manager in the UK, presented the open-source platform’s flexibility in greater detail, showing the limitless options it offers for tailoring your very own and unique web shop for your business. Taking the idea further that each business has its specific needs, Neil Hamilton, Co-Founder and CEO of Predictive Intent, showed that it is exactly the same when it comes to customers: Because of the individuality of online shoppers, smart merchandising and personalised recommendations are efficient tools to consider when looking to increase loyalty and revenue.
To conclude the morning, Beverley Bergin, Senior Business Development Manager at PayPal, showed our guests one of the largest global online payment solutions and explained how businesses using PayPal can access an extensive user base in the UK and worldwide, driving their sales.
All attendees were then offered an individual demonstration of Magento Enterprise given by David, Caroline and Adam from KPMG Crimsonwing. During the Q&A session and the demos, all specific questions were answered in the greatest detail by our specialists. Guests and speakers finally gathered for a nice networking session over lunch.
