KPMG Crimsonwing, the leading IT solutions partner in Malta, announced the launch of a new portal with interactivity, and increased functionality and navigation for the leading quadruple play operator in Malta. The company offers fixed phone, mobile telephony, broadband internet services, digital tv, in addition to business-related services to over 500,000 customer connections and services.
KPMG Crimsonwing was entrusted with the project following a tendering process, and has now completed the first phase of the three planned phases. The new website has successfully addressed the primary objective of building a scalable system that enables the client to easily update content independently. Furthermore, they now have a new online catalogue to showcase products and services.
Key features of the website include a redesigned telephone directory search service, access to a full TV Electronic Programme Guide, which provides a 7 day weekly programme schedule of most stations offered by the communications company on TV. The new site also provides quick links to help customers get to the information they need. Moreover, a new product catalogue showing all smartphone and tablet devices is now available for customers, including relative pricing with or without package offers.
KPMG Crimsonwing consultants were involved throughout the whole process, from design specification, front-end design, back-end functionality, together with training client’s personnel on their new portal, and providing technical support to once the website is up and running.
