KPMG Crimsonwing, the leading IT solutions provider in Malta, was declared a National Champion by the Board of the European Business Awards and will be representing Malta in the next round of the 2014/15 edition of these esteemed awards.
Competition was fierce with over 24,000 businesses hailing from 33 different countries across Europe participating. This year a record number of 709 National Champions made it through the first round of these awards, sponsored by RSM International.
KPMG Crimsonwing, which will be participating in the category of those companies having a turnover of up to €25 million, was successful in the first round of the selection process, despite the high levels attained by the other competitors.
“Being selected as a National Champion to represent Malta in the European Business Awards is encouraging. The next step will be to see whether we can make it to the next round of the awards, which besides being a great honour for the company, would also help boost Malta’s profile,” said KPMG Crimsonwing (Malta) Ltd Managing Director, James Bonello.
The European Business Awards, which were organised for the first time in 2007, have been bringing to the fore the most innovative businesses, those which effectively combine success with innovation and ethics in the European business community through these awards.
2014 has been a positive year for KPMG Crimsonwing, with its recent announcement that it had reached its €20 million turnover target for the financial year ending 31 March 2014. These results set a new record for the company.
For KPMG Crimsonwing the next target in these awards is winning the sought-after Ruban d’Honneur, which would then put the company in with a chance of winning the Business of the Year Award.
